In the far western part of the Tibetan plateau, there exists two miracles, Mount Kailash and Mansarovar. Mount Kailash Tour offers you astounding views of Kailash that is accessible after four days of scenic drive from Kathmandu. This drive takes you through the beautiful Tibetan plateau. In other ways, it can also be reached after a week of trek, starting from Simikot in Western Nepal.

If we choose to drive, we easily reach the exquisite region with the beautiful lake Mansarovar and stunning views of Mount Kailash along. The lake seems more attractive with swans floating on its surface. Both of the lake and the mountain have religious significance all dedicated to the legendary deity Lord Shiva. Day 01 : Arrival in Kathmandu

Day 03 : Drive from Kathmandu to Nylam

Drive from Kathmandu to Nylam [3,750m/12,303ft] and transfer to a hotel. Stay overnight

Day 04 : Acclimatization day

Acclimatization day at Nylam

Day 05 : Drive from Nylam to Saga

Drive from Nylam to Saga [4,450m/14,599ft] and transfer to a hotel. Stay overnight

Day 06 : Drive from Saga to Paryang

Drive from Saga to Paryang [4,600m/15,091ft] that takes about 7 – 8 hours; 230 km. Hotel overnight

Day 07 : Drive from Paryang to Mansarovar

Drive from Paryang to Mansarovar [4,558m/14,950ft] that takes about 8 hours; 277km. Hotel overnight

Day 08 : Visit the holy lake Mansarovar

Visit the holy lake Mansarovar. It the highest lake in Tibet with attractive complexion and full of fishes and swans as well. Hotel overnight

Day 09 : Tarchen

With an early bath, we visit the lake again this day for blissful worship. Later, we then drive to Tarchen [4,564m/14,975ft]; 40km. Camp overnight

Day 10 : Trek from Tarchen to Dehara Puk

Trek from Tarchen to Dehara Puk [500m/1,640ft] that takes about 7 hours. Camp overnight

Day 11 : Dolma-La Pass

The most difficult but also the holiest one of this pilgrimage Tour with Dolma-La Pass [5,669m/18,600ft]. Camp overnight

Day 12 : End of Kailash Tour

End of Kailash Tour. Finally drive to Takla Kot. Teahouse overnight

Day 13 : Drive from Takla Kot to Sera via Khojarnath Temple

Drive from Takla Kot to Sera via Khojarnath Temple and then further drive to Nepalgunj. Fly back to Kathmandu from Nepalgunj. Hotel overnight

Day 14 : Sightseeing tour in Kathmandu

A short sightseeing tour in Kathmandu. Farewell dinner along with a cultural show. Hotel overnight

Day 15 : Final departure
