Kanchenjunga Trekking is among the most popular trekking trail in Nepal. The trek offers you amazing experiences in this world-wide reputed mountain peak Kanchenjunga. The route takes you through remote villages, green hills, high terrains, cultivated fields and Mount Kanchenjunga itself.
The third highest mountain peak in the world, Mount Kanchenjunga recons itself with an impressive altitude of 8,586 metres above the sea-level. The region has been popular for trekking since it was opened to visitors in the year 1988. Local inhabitants who live here reflect a unique lifestyle. Their cultures and traditions are dissimilar to that of anywhere else in the world. These people are neighbourly-friendly and ever-smiling concerned much about your experiences in the area. Besides, you are always exposed to views of some of the glorious mountain peaks such as Jahnu Himal, Mount Makalu and Mount Kanchenjunga itself.
Trekking in Kanchenjunga starts from 1,200 metres of altitude and takes you to maximum altitude of 5,180 metres at some point of the trek. We start our trek from Suketar, situated in Taplejung. It can also be commenced from Basantapur. As soon as we start the journey, the colours of nature mesmerizes you and fills you in enthusiasm. Lush forests of Rhododendron, Oak and Pines greet you as you continue with the trek.
